I’ve just completed another fabulous lesson with Vito and I’m really pleased with how things are progressing. Before our first lesson I felt very nervous but Vito soon put me at ease. The lessons are gauged just at the right level for my ability and they are always very challenging… which is exactly what I needed. My confidence, and knowledge is growing all the time and finally I am starting to have conversations in Italian. I tried a few other tutors before I found Vito and struck gold. Vito is an absolutely wonderful teacher and I have nothing but good things to say about him. My son and I who were at different levels but yet Vito made it work . Vito is a great teacher of Italian and a nice person too. He is always well prepared, mixes up his lessons to make them interesting and not monotonous. He takes care that I learn and sends follow up material.
He's a brilliant teacher, always trying to build my confidence in speaking. He would be speaking dual language with me, by talking in Italian first and translate it in English after. In this way, I am able to understand. His exercises can be tough but he ensure that we do the revision together. Vito’s teaching style is a great mix up traditional text book exercises and less conventional methods (such as using Italian songs, etc). Very supportive and answers all questions in a way that makes you feel like it’s a great question, not a silly one! Highly recommend!
