His classes are fun and he provides a lot of grammar and exercises but also conversation opportunities. Alessandro is punctual and very flexible as well. Alessandro è un insegnante fantastico!
I’ve been with him since October 2020 with some basic level of Italian. Having consistently attended one lesson a week, (usually in person) which I’ve gained a lot of confidence in my ability. Every lesson we have I’ve gotten to a stage where I’m able to talk in Italian for the whole duration of the lesson. We also go through grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading exercises. Additionally, I honestly can’t believe how much of a great listener Alessandro is! It’s like meeting with a friend! Alessandro is an amazing teacher, he’s super patient, genuine, fun, understanding, adaptable and easy going.
Finally, I do know that there are other teachers out there and I’m sure their good as well. But definitely after my first lesson with Alessandro I could see that there was a lot of value in his teaching style and what I wanted to achieve in becoming adequate in my Italian ability. He really is a knowledgeable teacher and understands the art of how to teach effectively to others.

Alessandro is a great teacher! He is really patient and fun, he gives lots of positive reinforcement and packs his lessons with interesting content. His materials are really current, with lots of great grammar tips followed by conversation to put it all in to practice. I feel like my Italian has dramatically improved as well as my confidence to be able speak Italian with native speakers. Thanks for everything Ale!!

It has always been my dream to turn my broken Italian into good Italian and Alessandro is helping me to achieve this! He is a friendly teacher who makes a great effort to tailor his thoroughly prepared lessons to suit my needs. I have always been shy to speak with my Italian colleagues and family but with Alessandro’s support I have improved a lot in my skills and confidence. I work as a high school language teacher myself so I know that Alessandro uses up to date learning tools and lots of variety to make lessons challenging but fun. I highly recommend him as an Italian tutor!

I can only recommend Alessandro's Italian lessons! After having stopped to learn Italian for a few years I started again with Alessandro and enjoy it a lot. He makes you feel comfortable even if your Italian isn't good and you initially don't have the confidence to speak. Alessandro encourages you to improve your skills in a very friendly and funny way. He analyses your language level and introduces grammar or other exercises tailored to your difficulties and needs. Alessandro is a really great teacher - well prepared, structured and at the same time entertaining!

Alessandro has been my teacher, my friend and like one of my sons. He is a very kind person and very energetic and enthusiastic. He’s very patient and makes every lesson fun and productive. He’s well prepared and is very eager for me to learn Italian. He is also a lovely person who listens and has great motivational talks and ideas. All in Italian of course!!! He is very flexible and very pleasant and of course it’s great to have a teacher who tries very hard to make you excel. I love my lessons with Alessandro!

I write this review as someone who has "tried" to learn Italian for a few years and albeit years using an array of methods as an adult! Alessandro is an amazing, extremely competent and fantastic teacher. If you're like how I used to be and started your Italian journey using apps and printouts, only to be left completely confused, stressed and delving into forums for countless hours? This was me and I don't really want to sound like a commercial, but Alessandro was great cutting through everything for me this way and enabling me to excel in such a short (and mutually continuing) amount of time 🙂 Also, high on my list was a native speaker that could teach me practical and everyday words that "real" Italian's would use and he has done this and corrected me as so with absolute professionalism and integrity. I have complete confidence that I can converse in Italian now and have proof!

There is no dull moment with Alessandro! Our son, age 9, started learning Italian with Alessandro and he has enjoyed every minute of it over the past one and half year! He is engaging, fun, and on top of his game. He is quick to identify the personalities of his students and tailor the lessons accordingly. Thank you for being such a wonderful, patient teacher!

Learning Italian with Alessandro has truly been an adventure, learning with him changes from being an 'Italian Lesson' to an Italian adventure. For the first time, I don't dread having tutoring lessons. When my parents asked me if I wanted to continue tutoring with Alessandro twice a week over the summer holiday, I didn't hesitate on saying yes. Alessandro has been helping me polish my italian over the last few weeks and has been an absolute joy to work with. I work with him once a week and its always a highlight to look forward to. My experience with Alessandro has been great! I take an hour lesson once a week & he structures the lesson so it is part grammar & majority conversation which suits my personal goals & is able to tailor your lesson plans to suit each student. His lessons are fun & light, there’s always a chance for a good laugh (or several). I enjoy the revision & set homework per week which keeps me on track. His hours are flexible which helps when you work long days & may need to shuffle things around last minute. I highly recommend for all levels.
